April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, started taking guitar and piano lessons at age seven. Her interest in creating songs was sparked. April Lockhart wrote her first track"Different" at 12 years old. When she was 14, April devoted much of her time to singing and writing songs. In the following months, April started going to NY and LA together with her father so that they could both to write songs. April was also able to add other themes in the track "Take My Hand" to help her friends who dealt with issues such as peer pressurization disabilities, and even teenager suicide. Lockhart has her own following and is a lifestyle blogger at the well-known Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She has a disability that is a component of her personality, but it is not the whole image. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't ignore the fact that she is disabled and does not focus on it. The point? The message? That we are all multifaceted, and that our physical and identity selves are not all that they appear. It's not my intention to let that define me I don't intend to become an influencer in which I only talk about because there are many different elements to me Lockhart states in video form from her residence in Nashville. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my daily life. All is well and I've learned how to make adjustments. But it's also a part of me so I think it's essential to discuss. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon however Lockhart is an absolute inspiration in this regard. She admits that she's been through phases with her body and sometimes being unsure about wearing specific types of clothes which showed how much of her body. It's her choice to wear what she likes, and proudly shares photos of her in these outfits. She says that self-love is a journey. I'm not sure if you'll ever reach the point of no return. It's a long journey. I'm sure that you never reach your destination. I believe that it's really important to surround yourself with people who are able to see and know your true heart.
